Here we go!!
My first day of attempting to blog my hectic lifestyle and to try and express at least a small bit of the fun/laughter/stress/exhaustion that we feel in our Family!
As a brief update, Jo White and I are a married couple who have 5 children and are currently expecting twins in May! (Crazy I know, get a hobby, read a book they all say!). We absolutely love our family life and without day one of the dwarfs will have us in stitches or worse questioning how did we get it so wrong!
For example dwarf 1 shouts down the stairs 'my tv isn't working' ; ok, up I hop from my 5 minutes of sitting down down for the day, make my way upstairs and try to figure this complex question out. As I arrive to the crime scene (dwarf 1, 2 and 3's bedroom which is covered in clothes and debris) i see the tv;
Me - 'is it plugged in'
D1 - 'yeah it has a cable in it'
Me - 'that doesnt look like a power cable, where is the other end of that cable'
D1 - 'in the tv'
Me - 'no the other end'
D1 - 'ummm, in the PlayStation'
Me - ' ok and where is the power cable that i told you to plug in'
D1 - 'whats a power cable'
Me - 'the one with a plug on'
D1 - 'whats a plug'
Me - '🤦🏼♂️'
This goes on for another ten minutes before we get there and its all working. D1 is 13 and currently telling me how desperately she wants to move out and live on her own as its sooooo hard being here, yet the same day tells me she doesn't know what a plug is... good luck hun
In terms of ages of our rabble we have 13,12,10,9,2 and the twins yet to be born! i intend on updating you daily if you want to hear from us and you find the read entertaining during you're morning poo!
I'll update you tomorrow on how many coughs and questions Dwarf 4 has completed today, as he's at school you'd like to think we can keep both the counters below 100, but we will see!
Speak soon!
